Day Tour to El Fayoum Oasis

Fayoum is approximately 95 km from Cairo. Wadi El Ryan, designated as a protected area in 1989.

We start our tour in Wadi Hitan Reserve (Valley of the Whales), which is approximately 90 km from Fayoum. Wadi Hitan is located in the Wadi El Rayan Nature Reserve and has been designated a UNISCO World Heritage Site in recognition of the 40-million-year-old whale skeletons found there. On the way to Wadi El Rayan waterfall, visit Mount Mudawara.

Then Wadi Al Ryan waterfall. a natural depression located in the Western Desert, 42 meters below sea level.

Wadi Al Rayan consists of two lakes connected by Egypt's only waterfalls, created in 1970 by runoff from the Fayoum countryside.

Then enjoy Medinet Madi (The Ancient City Revealed), dating back to the Third Dynasty of Pharaohs built by Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV.
